Every house is complete with fully maintained kitchen appliances, good clean fitted carpets and vinyl or tiling in kitchens and bathrooms.
To ensure that your stay is a happy one you will receive a responsive and courteous maintenance service whilst the privacy of your home will always be respected.
Safety is paramount so all properties are gas and electrical safety checked. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed as standard.
In order to maintain these high standards for you and future occupants, tenants are not accepted who wish to smoke at home or those who have pets (fish and reptiles etc. will be considered). In general people in receipt of housing benefit are also not accepted.
As an alternative to renting a house many single professional people will now consider a room in a high quality house share. With PaulsHouses you pay a fully inclusive monthly rent (includes council tax, water rates, heating, electricity and even broadband and digi TV). It's an inexpensive and flexible choice that can also be a great way to meet an interesting mix of people. There are no bills to worry about and no furniture to buy. Smoking is never allowed inside my shared houses and for your reassurance everyone signs a sharing agreement to help keep things running smoothly.
As a prospective tenant references from your employer and previous landlord (if you have had one) will be required. If you are offered a tenancy a security deposit of one month's rent will also be required. Rent is then payable monthly in advance prior to moving in and then by monthly standing order. Tenancies are for 6 or 12 months initially and then on a flexible month-to-month basis giving you the freedom stay for any period you wish.
For single lets in addition to the standard assured shorthold agreement there are additional terms that you should be aware of.
You can be confident that should you wish to stay for a longer period that the house will not be changing hands and that the rent will always remain at a competitive level.
For your peace of mind your deposit will be lodged with the Government's Deposit Protection Scheme (www.depositprotection.com)
